I wore this recently when it started getting cold, I did not expect this to keep heat in as much as a wolly hat but this managed quite well and kept my head warm (Just need to find something to keep my neck warm).  You can't really see the cap under your helmet, it can be a bit itchy at first but once you are settled into a ride its hardly noticeable.Compared to a wolly cap this is a tad expensive, but you won't be able to wear your helmet, so get one for the cold weather!

Skull Cap

I love this skull cap, its very comfortable it messes with your hair but so do all caps and helmets, you can't see it under your helmet or you can wear it out and it looks like a sleek cap.  It probably isn't enough to keep warm if it is in minus temperatures but if you ride in these conditions it does make a big differenceIts washable so if you get any crap on it you can bung it in the washing machine.Price wise I think only riders will buy this as otherwise its an expensive cap.

I wore this skull cap for some early rides, its been freezing recently, this fits perfect under my helmet and kept my head nice and warm.
